In loving memory

Kaylee Jade Goncalves

June 8, 2001 – November 13, 2022

Kaylee Jade Goncalves was deeply loved, and her memory continues to shine through the stories and moments shared by those who knew her. Through our partnership with Turning Hearts, QR codes placed on gravestones or memorials allow visitors to scan, reflect, and connect with the life behind the name. Each purchase helps keep memories alive while supporting our foundation’s mission to honor Kaylee and stand beside other families walking through loss.

The University of Idaho memorial garden

The University of Idaho honors Kaylee with a name plaque in its memorial garden. In May, her family placed a Turning Hearts medallion beside her name, so anyone who stops can scan it and see Kaylee the way her family remembers her.

The garden is open to the public, and visitors are welcome.

Kristi also placed a medallion on the bench that honors Kaylee and her best friend, Maddie. It sits on a busy lakeside walk where many people pass and stop to scan.
